The Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden (concurrently Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Latvia) organized a trade delegation in Sweden and Norway from June 6. On August 9, the delegation visited and worked with Madam Hong Import Export and CT Food branch in Stockholm. Madam Hong is an enterprise specializing in importing Asian food products. This is one of the enterprises that import a variety of Vietnamese products, especially rice. Madam Hong imports Vietnamese rice the most in Sweden and exclusively distributes Vietnam’s Lotus rice brand in this market. This is also the only Vietnamese rice brand that retains its name in Sweden. Madam Hong is also a wholesaler with many Madam Hong branded items.
CT Food is the leading importer and distributor of Asian products in Sweden, with a wide range of high-end foods of famous brands. With over 30 years of experience, CT Food has a wholesale warehouse system in both Stockholm and Malmo, two major Swedish cities. In 2021, CT Food was awarded the title of Typical Swedish Enterprise. This is one of the enterprises that import Vietnamese goods the most in Sweden with a wide range of goods. This business imports both Thai and Vietnamese rice, in which Vietnamese Jasmine rice is distributed under its own brand Twin Dragons.
